NewsGator does not require an account to browse. We may collect limited technical information - such as basic server request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) - solely for the purpose of operating and securing the service. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

We do not use tracking cookies, behavioral analytics, or advertising networks. Your reading history is not recorded on our servers.

We use Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service, to detect and fix crashes. When an error occurs, technical details such as the error message, the page where it happened, and your browser and device type may be sent to Sentry. We also use Sentry performance monitoring, which records page load and navigation timings as you browse. This data is used only to keep the service working, not to track or profile readers.

Articles on NewsGator link to and summarise content from third-party publications. When you follow an external link, you are subject to the privacy policy of the destination site. We have no control over and take no responsibility for their data practices.
